Contact requests are the core interaction on ContactedIn. This policy sets the rules that keep them useful.

What a contact request must include

Opportunity type (e.g., job, consulting, investment, advisory).

A specific reason — why this person, why now.

A requested next step — intro call, response, review, etc.

Relevant context: budget range, timeline, and scope when applicable.

Rate limits

Free plan: up to 5 contact requests per month.

Pro plan: up to 50 per month.

Business plan: unlimited, subject to fair-use enforcement.

Response options

Recipients can accept, decline, ask for more information, or archive. Declines are final unless the recipient chooses otherwise.

Quality enforcement

Low-quality, duplicate, or spammy requests may be rate-limited, blocked, or removed. Repeat offenders may be suspended.
